Features

Any two knowns, the whole state

Dry bulb, wet bulb, dew point, relative humidity, humidity ratio, enthalpy or specific volume: give any two and get the rest, at your site's elevation.

A chart you can touch

Every state is a point on a real psychrometric chart. Slide it with a finger or the mouse; tap the chart to read the air anywhere.

Mixing and processes

Mix outdoor and return air by their airflows. Join two points as a coil, heater or humidifier and read the total, sensible and latent load and the water removed.

SI and inch-pound

°C, kPa, kJ/kg and g/kg, or °F, psia, Btu/lb, grains, CFM and tons. One tap switches the whole app.

The Handbook's equations

ASHRAE Handbook – Fundamentals: Hyland–Wexler saturation over water and ice, the thermodynamic wet bulb, the standard atmosphere. Checked against CoolProp.

Questions

Who is it for?

HVAC engineers and technicians, energy auditors and students who need the state of moist air and the loads of air treatment.

How accurate is it?

It uses the moist-air equations of the ASHRAE Handbook – Fundamentals and agrees with CoolProp's humid-air model within a few tenths of a per cent from −20 °C to 50 °C.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. It never connects: your points stay on your device.
